Boomerang Dave's Catalog
Hi, well you have finally done it. You made me come out of boomerang retirement and begin to produce boomerangs again. I think I'll keep the selection much smaller now so that I can manage it better and not get in over my head when work demands travel. I'll try to add odds and ends on ebay. For a better look at the boomerangs listed below, click on the images for a larger picture. Boomerangs may vary in colors and paint schemes from the photos posted.

The Fizzy is a really great beginner boomerang boomerang. Based on the German design Fuzzy, which was originally a 5mm thick fast catch boomerang, this is a reversed, stylized version in 4mm 8 ply birch plywoodplywood. It is very easy to throw and catch and has a lot of hover at the end of the flight. I like the stylized curves it has and have found it to be fun to toss in smaller spaces. It is ideal in teaching students how to throw. The Fizzy 4 has a range of 20 meters and is priced at $13.99

Next we
have the EasyVee. This "V" shaped boom is real easy to toss and great for beginners. It requires some layover when thrown which is ideal for those new throwers who have their "sidearm habit". It has about a 25M range and a slow rotation, which makes it easy to catch. It is made from 10 ply 5mm Finnish Birch plywood. It has a wingspan of 15" and sells for only $13.99

The Omni is an omega shaped boomerang that has a lot of range (30+ meters) for a small package. Because it is made of polypropylene and can handle lots of abuse and it is great when throwing in less than ideal conditions (wet grass, gravel, dirt, etc.). Polypro floats so it would be great at the beach too. It requires a slight harder thrown and more spin, but is a great little boomerang. It has a wing span of 11.75" and is priced at $13.99
Availability: Currently out of stock Also available in polycycarbonate for longer range and more durability @ $13.99 (in stock) |

This boomerang is the Goldfinch and is a design by Herb Smith. I made this version from photos of the original. This is decorated using pen and ink. Colors and patterns will vary. This is a great returning boomerang which will give you hours of fun. This boomerang is not very difficult to use for an experienced boomerang enthusiast. It takes takes a hard toss, with a little layover and will make a low circular flight about 35 meters across. This has become a favorite for me to throw. It is made from 5 ply 6mm Finnish Birch plywood. It has a wingspan of 14.5 inches and sells for $18.99

Please treat boomerangs with care and respect. Boomerangs are fun but
can cause damage or injury if handled incorrectly. You the buyer must accept
all responsibility for the boomerang and its flight. Have fun but always use
caution and common sense.
